Yup.
Just woke up this morn and found that update in my email from ebay.
Too bad someone didn't grab it before the seller yoinked it.
I imagine the seller realized he could up the price $40 to 60-ish and he'd be in line with all the other n800 /n810 that are "trending" (not selling) between $60 and $120 ...
Sure I think it's worth that and more in my opinion...
but I would be unrelenting in pursuing an under $40 price tag ...including shipping. ....
for now anyway...
It's just about the amount of supply ...
there are quite a few for sale in the market still.
And consistently.
So the inflated price is not warranted.
Nor is it reasonable or realistic ...
Not when a n900 in decent shape can be got for between $80 and $150.
I've been hawk-eye watching the "trends" of online markets concerning the nxx0's literally daily... for years and years.
When there get to be fewer and fewer available...
fewer and fewer in good condition and working order...
due to their rarity or if the demand on the supply jumps drastically due to people sick of same-old same-old and jumping ship from whatever they are using and getting a n8x0 instead.
Then I think the escalation in price is understandably warranted.
So yeah...
Let's see what happens with this n800 and this seller...
see if he jumps the price to an ungodly sum...
or if he recants and simply keeps it because ...
well..it's a great device and he came to his senses.
Now ...for example ...
If I trusted to gamble with this completely brand-new ebay seller ...

then for $30 or less including shipping...this n810 (seemingly in good shape) would be a steal.
Only thing holding me back if I wanted yet another n810 would be his feedback rating...since he is soooo new.
