I was thinking it would be nice, to profile our user community, at least anyone that wants to participate in the community, not as a mandatory thing, people could choose not to participate.
To gather information about how the can help the community, perhaps some of this information is already on maemo.org, but I thinking if we expanded on it, the council could use this information to better tap the people with certain expertise, hold meeting and get help to get things done, from system administration, to web development, to marketing, to usability and ergonomic experts.
Additionally if the community had access to this information we could also gather the resources to better complete our own projects, by being better able to find the appropriate people interested in helping out on projects.
I think you get the general idea, perhaps a page to pop up on login, or just gathered through the maemo.org profile?
So what do you think?
To all my Maemo friends. I will no longer be monitoring any of my threads here on a regular basis. I am no longer supporting anything I did under maemo at maemo.org. If you need some help with something you can reach me at tablethacker.com or www.facebook.com/penguinbait. I have disabled my PM's here, and removed myself from Council email and Community mailing list. There has been some fun times, see you around.
