Although this is certainly a driver bug, it's easy to consistently trigger. I've bolded the line that causes it. Save the following into ~/.mplayer/config and play a video.

Code:
vo = xv:ck=set
colorkey = 0
fs = yes
ao = pulse
alang = en
framedrop = "1"
autoq = "100"
cache = "8192"
quiet = "1"
really-quiet = "1"
There you go

it's not a code it's a configuration for mplayer...
well ok first install mplayer after installation open xterm and type

vi ~/.mplayer/config

press i once then paste this

vo = xv:ck=set
colorkey = 0
fs = yes
ao = pulse
alang = en
framedrop = "1"
autoq = "100"
cache = "8192"
quiet = "1"
really-quiet = "1"
then run any video using mplayer by issuing a command like

mplayer <video filename>

well I hope you know how to edit files using a text editor?(example vi, nano, txpad, leafpad)

or if you dont know what I'm talking about click and install this

http://maemo.org/downloads/product/r...et_installfile

next

download and open this...

http://maemo.org/downloads/product/r...et_installfile

next install it.

next
you should open /home/user/.mplayer/config with any text editor(leafpad) then paste the following
vo = xv:ck=set
colorkey = 0
fs = yes
ao = pulse
alang = en
framedrop = "1"
autoq = "100"
cache = "8192"
quiet = "1"
really-quiet = "1"
then run mplayer through xterm by issueing a command like

mplayer /home/user/MyDocs/.videos/myvideo.mp4

Throwing a vi manual at a newbie is ridiculous.
