Maybe remove the KDE logo from the Application Manager icon

o_O lol
we haven't had reasonable usable easy printing on device before ever.

i will be creating and sending a 800*960 png of the image + full resolution sketch
(the preview there is half res for speed on 810)

the simple answer is - no, im not going to do it
i have enough to do and someone else can deal if its wanted

Sending the image and sketch? By colour fax? That would be sweet.

going to be uploading both to liqbase.net is the idea so far.
when on the web, the only reasonable way to show vectors is svg and its slow and not universal.
i know png isnt either, but its better and faster.

i might also simply make the recipients list in this version be a tweet and use a url shortners to point at a liqbase.net item.

ive got the code now, its getting much easier for me.
i can see many of my original goals coming together really well.

So, I still have lots of work to do, but I can post these proof-of-concept screenshots. Enjoy!

I really hope someone ports OpenOffice to Maemo and gives it a nice Maemo UI, but that's a pretty big task. So until that happens...

OpenOffice Writer running under Fremantle, using Fremantle GTK theme (but still needing some serious UI tweaking -- those scroll bars are microscopic):

Note the load applet; one bar for processor load. OpenOffice doesn't really stress out the processor much.

OpenOffice in the dashboard; multitasking FTW:

office apps have never been much in the way of cpu stressers when just sitting there doing nothing. but i guess the cpu will spike ones you start typing and the spellchecker kicks in, or you try to modify the layout of the page in some way.

and thats why microsoft and intel freaks, as they cant come up with a combo of office app improvements and cpu improvements that will keep the numbers flowing their way.
