hi, i ask to expert if it would be possible to restart partially the system when it got stucked on nexus 5. i m looking for a way to restart it when some touch controls seems to not respond ( keyboard, or swipes or tap, depending by case) without completely reboot system

try systemctl --user restart lipstick

thank u coderus. it would bw possible to automatize command in an app right? ( to suggest to porters of n5)

sure you can create simple desktop file for that
for porters i think need to fix problems, not create buttons for soft reboot

ok..respect previously ports is better but seems to still suffer that sometimes..in the meanwhile they correct bug,i would like use this workaround...even if i dont know how to create an app for this

A solution that I have found when my Nexus 5 stops responding to touch is to tap with your hand covering the top right corner of the phone a few times slowly. I do it when the screen is off.

This seems to reset the sensor and activate the screen touch again. I haven't rebooted my phone for several days now.
