Sorry for bumping... but I really like this awesome game and... I would play it on my caanoo as well (google for it if you don't know what it is)... so, is there the source code? Maybe I can ask for a port (or you can port it if you want). Thanks!

The device seems to have quite a low resolution screen but if you think the game's runnable you can find the source from the extras package page:
maemo.org/packages/source/view/fremantle_extras-devel_free_source/asciiportal/1.2c-1/

I don't think low resolution would be negative for a game like that...

Tried this on Maemo 4 on got the following error of unhappiness.


asciiportal: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by asciiportal)


Is this dependency available for Diablo?

If someone compiled this for diablo it should be ok (also on Caanoo). The source compiles nicely, though rather unlikely fremantle build will work on diablo as it uses sdl (to emulate console - pdcurses). Last time I played this it did crash on some maps though (especially the addon map packs).
