Take it with a pinch (or perhaps even a fistful) of salt but Tomi Ahonen commented on his blog:

And a word about Nokia the networking company. They are dropping hints that they might come back to handsets as soon as the exclusivity period with Microsoft using the Nokia brand is over. That would be nice.
Hopefully he'll give a bit more details on that when he'll be out with the Q3 reports by mid November.

i've often wondered if they retain a golden share in Jolla resulting from the burning-bridge spin-out investment program...

Just take a few pics of them in the hotel room with the N900 as spy cam and upload to flickr (plugin not yet broken in that time)

I'm sure there's a collection of enthused ex-and-current employees.
But this thing will never fly.

Nokia is officially dead. There is no more Nokia, no more Nokia devices, the legacy support is a joke, everything is back-peddling and transitioning into Microsoft services.

Enjoy a new Microsoft Lumia phone or tablet.

Where do you get this strange info from?
(currently logged onto a Nokia device under development btw...)

So, are Nokia fans jumping to Android (perhaps with a Nokia launcher), Jolla (with that nice new €100 discount code), opting for continuation (Lumia), going crazy (Neo900), or going for something completely different - be that open source (Firefox OS) or closed (iOS, BlackBerry)?

I've gone with Jolla thanks to the €100 discount, and the fact that I just want to see any European tech company do well. If I can't get on with that, I'll likely give Nokia's launcher on an Android (probably Nexus) phone a try.
