First: sorry for opening a new thread for my issue, but I could not find satisfying answers in the forum or the wikis...

MULTIBOOT menu shows no entries at all.

Pressing "0" in Multiboot menu gives this

Code:
Maemo (default)

BOOTING - PLEASE WAIT

Kernel: 2.6.28-omap1
Params:
Modules:
for a blink of an eye and then:

Code:
"Can't flash kernel, required files not found
Guru Meditation #00000025.62017712"
Connecting the N900 via USB and holding "u" -button pressed and starting flasher 3.5 afterwards:

Code:
USB device found found at bus 002, device address 008.
Found device RX-51, hardware revision 2101
NOLO version 1.4.14
Version of 'sw-release': RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.002_PR_002
Pressing "s" in Multiboot menu just gives a back blank screen...

This happened after me stupid installed the multiboot loader manually without creating boot entries and rebooting.

Off course I could just do a reflash(got a backup) but I'd like to fix it because there are a lot of editedconfig files for eg Citrix I would not like to loose - maybe I am just stubborn

Questions:

- Is it possible to access the data on the internal storage via usb without loading the os(I could create the entries for Multiboot to load the stock Kernel)?

- Is it possible to chroot into the os via usb somehow(to get rid of Multiboot)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Janis

Here is a way to load a rescue kernel that gives full access to both sdcard and internal memory. Just be sure to have a fully charged battery first.

Looks great, thanks. Did a reflash in the meantime, but good to know for the next time...
