Hello everyone

i installed kernel power and u boot and everything work fine the only probleme is that when i boot i get "Maemo 5 with attached kernel 2.6.28-omap1 (internal nand)" item and there is no file that contain this one in /etc/bootmen.d so my question is how to delete this item i mean how to remove it from the u boot menu because i prefere to boot with the kernel power image so i don't see why i should keep this entery in menu

Thanks

I don't believe you can (sorry, I stand corrected see below!). You need to setup a default bootmenu item, there's instructions in the uboot thread I believe.

u-boot-update-bootmenu --no-attached

But you are better served to leave it that way. And more simple create a symlin /etc/default/bootmenitem pointing to your default item file and run update-bootmenu once more.
