I've noticed some native Sailfish apps rotate, at least the main screens. The ones I've seen are Terminal and Tidings. Terminal rotates even its cover, while Tidings only rotates the headline and article views. Curiously, the article view has an HTML renderer that functions in landscape, with a landscape pull-down menu (and viewing an individual headline, a bottom menu to move forward to the next article.) The edges remain as they are, i.e. the "top" and "bottom" are still the short edges.

Are there other apps that rotate?

Camera, Gallery, and Documents also rotate. Good for reading PDFs in landscape format.

Oh yes, individual photos rotate in Gallery. The sharing view rotates quite cleverly, with the photo on the right half of the screen, and the sharing functions and the menu on the left half. The list view doesn't rotate at all. Also, the Gallery cover always shows the list view.

I didn't realize Documents rotates as well! Thanks! Alas, Documents seems to crash with a couple of large PDF files I have (2.2 and 3.5 MB respectively), which is a pity, since they're books I'd like to read. (There should be no DRM nuisance, but they are quite complex documents.)
