Hallo,

here is my browser question. I would be grateful if one of the new happy owners of the N770 could perform the following test and report back.

Here are the steps:

1. Access http://fxtrade.oanda.com/resources/
2. On the left side of the oanda fxtrade site you can oprn a game account. there is no fee or obligations - it is free. OANDA is by the way a respected company.
3. After activating the game account through email please login.
4. Access http://fxtrade.oanda.com/resources/ again and try to login.

A second browser window is opened. Message "applet loading" and the trading page appears.

Thanks in advance ....subsecond

The browser doesn't support applets so it will not work.

Perhaps all thats needed is a release of a JVM for the maemo platform. The browser has plugin support so that would work once a Java Applet plugin is available.

I'm certainly interested in the development of a JVM for maemo. Not sure how the hardware constraints may effect it, and how long the whole universal look and feel think will take to implement (maybe a subset of J2SE could be implemented... or maybe J2ME is more suitable).
