Agreed with you on this one. No difference with or without lpsmagic.

it does seem that having an image at all changes the way that systemui calculates the movement; there is less room for it to move, so there are less permutations.

perhaps it is this smaller degree of change that makes it SEEM that there is less frequent change.

shifting it by a few pixels every once in awhile should prevent burn-in in a practical sense.

V2 has already got dynamic image size(requires restart though)
also icon and date renderers are done. Working on battery module (the most complex yet).

2.0 alpha 1 aka 1.80 is almost ready.

This image was generated in scratchbox where no actual battery is available. Testing on the N9 now

latest status:

battery percentage, date in system format
power usage mA

I still don't get why the last part is cut. There's the easy and and the right way(tm) to fix that.

dont say that. never say that. aegis loves us all; what we sometimes see as cruel, pointless, and ineffectual is merely part of the grand scheme it has for protecting us from our own evil natures.

by-the-by, it seems your code is more or less off the ground now. can you do an alpha release so folks can start writing plugins, or do you need to make more possibly-breaking-changes?
