Stop the off-topic, RoadMap can only handle US maps, did you forget the rest of the world?
Agreed. There are already several Roadmap threads here.

Much as I appreaciate that efforts are being made to develop this (primarily to the benefit of US users), it is getting annoying when it keeps getting plugged on every Route Planing thread....

If you want to discuss Roadmap, please use one of the current Roadmap threads.

Yes but it's only the source of the last version in a tar.gz package. It needs to be compiled and built into a .deb

but if you already have the overpriced garmin maps (as I do- from a prior gps device) then navit is perfect!

Anyone else willing to compile this project?


Walter White ( walterjwhite @nospam@ hotmail (dot) com ) is not available apparently, but he made available the code to compile it with these parameters

You just have to build last version with this option : --disable-binding-python --disable-gui-sdl --disable-samplemap --enable-avoid-float --enable-avoid-unaligned
