Hello, for reasons I wont bore you with, I had to do my first reflash today.
I downloaded these:-

RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin
And flasher-3.5.

I flashed 'combined' ok & then went on to flash 'vanilla'. Due to
the fact I was distracted (and that I am a blithering idiot) I
flashed the 'combined' again, complete with the -R (restart) option, so n900 rebooted after 'combined' flash, I understand this is not good. Then flashed 'vanilla'. All messages said 'successful'.

Device now wont boot.

Questions:
1) Have I totally bricked it? (If yes then 2)
2) Why (I know I cocked up, but why cant it be fixed?).

I have done the same a few months ago. But I remember that merely removing the battery, putting it back in and then re-flashing it in the correct order helped.

Does your device not respond even to a wall charger? Just try once removing the battery and popping it back in.

Ok will try that. What 'correct order' worked for you?
Thanks....

My recommendation is to follow the Wiki.

Updating the Firmware N900

It works for me...
