My recommendation is to follow the Wiki.
Updating the Firmware N900
It works for me...
I downloaded these:-
RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin
And flasher-3.5.
I flashed 'combined' ok & then went on to flash 'vanilla'. Due to
the fact I was distracted (and that I am a blithering idiot) I
flashed the 'combined' again, complete with the -R (restart) option, so n900 rebooted after 'combined' flash, I understand this is not good. Then flashed 'vanilla'. All messages said 'successful'.
Device now wont boot.
Questions:
1) Have I totally bricked it? (If yes then 2)
2) Why (I know I cocked up, but why cant it be fixed?).
