It will be duplication of efforts then, just follow the below stated method...

3. execute something like this:
sudo gainroot
cd /
tar -xvz /home/user/MyDocs/yourfile.tgz

4. go to theme customizer, change your theme.
the easier method:

1. Put the file in MyDocs (aka Nokia N900)
2. Open Theme Customizer and press on Theme-customizer's menu
3. Import a theme and choose the file
4. close theme customizer and open it again...
5. Select the theme... (Harmattan-black~~~)

done!!

TransTech, do you have any plans to substitute the provided wallpapers with something more harmattanish?
I must say that I really dislike the provided wallpapers, specially because even if I substitute them manually, they are still visible in Media Player and World Clock screens.

Could this be related?
This is what i get in Linux pc command line
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Tried re-downloading a couple of times, but still get that error.
Tar in busybox-power and in bash3 does just nothing, no process as all, no differences in RAM or swap usage.

Hi,
Those wallpapers are for testing builds only... until I solve the contacts bug... ...

I will be changing all of the wallpapers and App Backgrounds when this is more stable...

btw did the theme work fine for you? can you see the contacts on homescreens?

thanks

Sorry for the lack of feedback: The method you suggested works great!

I wanted to contribute to the possible failure to package the archive you sent to @sifo. Tried to extract it to folder to reproduce packaging it.

It was a bit messed up a few versions ago, now I don't see any problem.
