Here's the setup I have and this is what I would like to do.

First, I have Carman loaded on my 770, and while it will communicate with a couple of OBD2/bluetooth devices, this is evidently too easy. I happen to have a different type of OBD2 interface that I would like to be able to use.

I have a multiplex-engineering.com OBD2 interface with an aircable.net Aircable Serial3 serial-bluetooth interface connected to the multiplex serial port using a null modem adapter, as recommended by both companies. My 770 sees and connects to the bluetooth portion of this concoction but because the Carman program does not specifically use this interface, it naturally will not exchange OBD2 data.

Back to what I would like to do: Is there some type of comm terminal program that can be used to send commands thru the bluetooth and get those commands to the serial OBD2 interface board? What is the bluetooth device name on the 770?

If this would be better to post in a different forum, please let me know.

thanks,
tony - tm770
