See http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=38372
The short is that I got the igo stowaway ultra-slim working with my n900 and use it daily but other people are not able to replicate what I did and we can't figure out why.

that all looks a little beyond my capabilities at the moment. Hopefully someone can come up with a script or app to do this soon.

Yeah, great info and how-to from qobi, but I couldn't get it to work either. I tried after a flash also since this is an important missing feature for me. I haven't tried since xmas weekend though.

Just an FYI: last I checked, Nokia has closed most (if not all) the bugs submitted as WONTFIX. They said they won't support it and don't plan to have bt keyboard support in the future. I haven't bothered to look recently so someone can correct me if they changed their position.

is still open. If you think this is important, please vote for it. I did.

If someone will run strace on a case where my method fails it may help diagnose it. (I ran and posted strace output where it succeeded so we can compare.)

I can not comment on or vote for the bug--I will when the site is back up. But I also just want to chime in here to say I am very surprised to find that BT keyboards do not work--as they do with my N800. It feels neutered.

I believe that I finally figured out how to get bluetooth keyboards to work. See http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...777#post490777

Bluetooth keyboards aren't actually supported on the N900 yet. There's something in the wiki to help out with this and I've been seeing a lot of new threads come up about bluetooth keyboards... Perhaps someone should talk to an admin and get a sticky up.

This is actually a separate issue, that post says how to correctly get the keyboard to work (I can't verify it as I don't have an N900), but make sure you have bluetooth keyboard devices enabled before trying to get it set up.

http://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_Unsu...tooth_profiles is the official page to help with connecting bluetooth keyboards.

Hope this helps.

I'm going to resurrect this thread since it has the best title.

I can pair my stowaway with my N800 and use it without problems, but the N900 has pairing problems.

On the N900, I go through the pairing process and it says the keyboard is paired, but the Bluetooth symbol will not go blue and nothing appears from the keyboard. If I don't type anything for a minute, the keyboard goes to sleep, but typing something doesn't wake it up like on the N800.

My N900 has the 'input' removed from main.conf, it has PR 1.2 and titan's power kernel (just in case that matters)

The weird thing is that I got this to work at the 2009 Summit, but it just won't work now...

EDIT: I've taken this over to this thread, sorry for the noise.
