Download or install?

I normally download to uSD and then dpkg -i /media/mmc/foo_armel.deb

Don't try to install using file explorer and HAM - use dpkg at the terminal.

PIM/Office/Travel companion? Android is way ahead! Portable computing/development? Maemo/Mer seems better suited! GET REAL.
I'm not unproductive with a HWKB-less consumer device - maybe more productive: simply less time for resolving issues / hunting for fixes / living without software availability needed!

Alright. In terminal, would I put dpkg and the file name right? Thanks
