I used to be able to enjoy using my N9 before updating it to PR1.2 Update. But after flashing the new update, the OS has become real lag. Whether I am switching between home screens or browsing through my app screen, the transitions show lag.

Has anyone experienced this similar problem after upgrading to PR1.2?

Some people reported that their N9 got smooth after a couple of restarts .

Yes i guess you are right, this is the case with my n9, just overclock it to 1.2 and the lag will almost disappear

Use Drop Cache and select free all, that helps drastically with the lag.

Indeed , it helps pretty much . I asked if someone could make an auto refresh script for drop cache with time interval or "free all" when free ram memory is <200mb .

device has faster fileaccess times if free memory is used for filecache like in normal linux machine, So for me Drop cache makes the device slower. Of course if you like to have free ram in your freemem list, (that doesn't benefit the performance) then drop cache might be helpful.

Usually its slow after the update, because its rebuilding its indexes, and that might take quite long if there is lot of media files or emails. Few days in the worst cases.

I always experience lag after re-flashing PR1.2 (I have done it about a half dozen times ), a couple reboots always fixes the issue.
