2) Extract to /home/user/MydDocs/snowshoe/
3)
devel-su
cd /home/user/MydDocs/snowshoe/
dpkg -i *.deb

Do you have the source backed up somewhere? Maybe we could put Qt5 into openrepos?

/edit: I forgot that OR is not an autobuilder. Anyway, it'd be good to have the source in a public location.

I second that - if we can get a recent Qt 5 build running (5.1+) it could open the way for port of various other Qt 5 based applications.

Also the modRana Qt 5 GUI might be able to run if PyOtherSide can be compiled against the Qt 5 build (it might work even without Python 3 with some hacking), solving the problem with the outdated modRana port for Harmattan.
