my virtual keyboard doesnt show up anymore since couple of days. as i can remember. i thought it was because of virtransim, i uninstalled it but nothing. reinstalled it. still nothing. i didnt install scim mscim on my phone.. experts please help

Is it enabled in Settings > Text Input?

yes it is enabled, i tried restart but nothing.. i tried reset setting but still nothing.. another problem is with hardware keyboard capitalization. i have to press-hold the caps button to make it works. the same for symbols and numbers. and additional onscreen symbol also wont show up. but in opera mobile hardware keyboard's caps, symbol and number works just fine. please help..

edit : i dont want to reflash.

Check what you have installed lately. Some handwriting input packages interfere with the vkb.

disable virtual keyboard in Settings>Text input and restart your device. after that enable it again. this always helped me to get my virtual keyboard back.

i installed tweego, nemo keyboard and enna. i have remove tweego but nothing. i dont think enna causes this issue. so im keeping it. i have removed nemo kb too but still nothing.

i did it. but i still cant get my vkb back

did you install quick voice input?
if so, remove it that causes the problem for many users

no i didnt install it.. is there a file of vkb that i can copy paste from other user?

Wrong thread His is a N900 not N9 issue...
