ok freemangordon understanding, and another question I want to install nitdroid or ubutnu, but the kernel community CSSU-thumb-boot image, this conflict appears as a problem, I try nitdroid and what happens is that I have only this kernel instaldo CSSU-thumb but kp 51R1 never installed since the last reflash, what could I do? thank you very much

Do you have libqtm-12 installed?
If you have it installed you can try to remove "/home/user/.mozilla/fennec" directory and run fennec again.

looking purely at the segfault, the path returned in the error looks a little odd. there exists by default, afaik, only /home/user /home/opt and /home/lost+found. not sure if /home/maemo is an app specific introduction

Hi all,
I have updated my device to CSSU Thumb.
Before doing that I was running CSSU + KP51r1 fine.
After that I have rebooted a first time with KP51r1, the device doesn't seem to boot totally, I mean I can go up to the security code and PIN code step and after that the desktop start to load and the device reboot.
So, I decided to switch the RD mode ON to be able to start the device, this worked fine (remember, here I have CSSU Thumb installed but not the CSSU Thumb kernel).
Well, setting RD Mode ON permit to run the device.
Then I'm thinking the problem can be by running KP51r1, so time to use 'apt-get install kernel-cssu-flasher'.
This installed :
Look like all goes well here, time to reboot ...
Now, the device doesn't boot anymore, strangely, when I open keyboard, I can see the multiboot menu, this one show the default kernel & the KP51r1 as choices but not the Kernel CSSU Thumb.
Trying the 2 options doesn't permit the device to boot properly.
Is there a way to reflash just the KP51r1 to be able to boot the device and try to fix the problem ?
Here, it look like I have omitted to install 'kernel-cssu-bootimg' package.
Does my analyze of the problem is ok ?
Can someone give me advice how I can get the KP51r1 kernel to flash as fiasco option (if I have understand properly ...) ?

@colin.stephane - it should be in kernel-power.deb, just wget it and unpack it. though it seems to me that something else broken, I don't know how multiboot works, but aiui flashing a kernel should overwrite it. which you already did.

So how is the progress with converting more things to thumb?
So far my N900 has just been going awesome, no error's and thanks to OC & SR battery life is also much better then before thumb, swap is still lower by more then 20MB.
