Hello. I've tried to connect the wiimote. I got ziimote and drnoksnes installed. It has discovered the nintendo wii. I got the remote into discovery mode by holding 1 and 2 together. It asks for a passkey and I've tried 0000, 1234 and it has failed. There is no option for no passkey. How am I supposed to connect it? Thanks.

I would also appreciate some help on this topic. I thought I had installed the package, and I no longer see the option to install.

Actually for me the wiicontrol package is pretty weird as i have to start the wiimote discovery before launching the apps or it just dies and then if i get a sync i can't select which profile (like wii + classic) to get a functional controlelr to play snes games! :-(

Would love a guide on how to install/setup Wiicontrol.

I've tried everything that I can think of and it keeps dying soon as it's launched.
I have bluetooth enabled and have installed usbcontrol and maemo-select-menu-location package also.
(not sure if both are needed but was a pre-dependancy stuff for the .deb file)
I've tried uninstalling wiicontrol and tried installing both from app manager and xterm using .deb file.

I've also tried uninstalling usbcontrol and maemo-select-menu-location package also. Still same. Wiicontrol just dies upon launch.

Am I missing some important ingredient?

No, it means you can use the Wii controller to play SNES games on your N900.

My installation so far :
Wiimote works, but just the buttons. Not the sensors. Should they work ??
For getting so far :
Install wiicontrol, go as root to /usr/bin/ , there is a file called wiicontrol.
Go to "mapping={ ......." It is in line 69.
There you find ["a XX"]. Change the XX to what you want and save the edited file.
After that your emu should work.
Did for me with DrNokSNES.
