Yep. It is not as smooth as in landscape mode. But can live with that.

I fail to see how a half implemented functional change can be called an easter egg.

That said perhaps I'll use that approach on the software systems I deliver in future. Turn every failed delivery into an 'unexpected bonus' for the users.

(FTR I couldn't give too hoots about portrait mode browsing - I'm just saying).

It is just one time activation. Browser remembers user action and orients itself ever after reboot. So you don't have to use that shortcut every time you want to switch to portrait.

its just an experimental version its unfinished which is why its not noted in change log and not activated by default.
just be happy they put it in the upgrade to give us a peek of what's to come.
