so this is question mainly for the people from Finland, Norway and similar countries, as my n900 works perfectly on -25°C, but havent had the chance to test it on temperatures below that, would love to know if anybody has used it on -40 or below that

wow... we can Overclock N900 to 2Ghz @ -40, obviously with the special overclocking software called "moo"...

well overclocking to at least the 1.15GHz would certanly help n900 to survive usage in extreme cold(just without undervolting so it heats up as much as possible )

How long did the "exposure" last? Actually the battery can't stand that temp. Basically it won't supply enough current once cooled down.
I was able to use it for about an hour tied to a bicycle at 0 - -5°C

around 15min, than it started to get too cold for my hands :P
