Is it possible to add search engines to MicroB? There's an option "search with google" when something is typed. Is it possible to add e.g. wikipedia.

I'm thinking about something like that: you type 'keyword', and it appears:

Such as it is in webOS. It auto detects the search engines available on pages.

Now I managed to change it to duckduckgo by following this:

Now I would like to look into that html file from the wiki to combine these, if needed. Will have a look at that.. (I hope)

I have another request for the smartbar in MicroB, it displays your history in if you start typing in the bar. Would it possible to limit these results to bookmarks as the bar tends to get slow if you have a big browsing history.
Those history/urls I mean can be found in
/home/user/.browser_typed_urls

Actually now I am thinking of this, I only need to edit this file to my likings and remove the write acces to this file.

You can use !w to search wikipedia when after setting duckduckgo as search engine. Actual there is a whole lists of this showrtcuts, they call it bangs. Look it up on duckduckgo.com

Like @marmistrz I'd also prefer

Type 'keyword'

Google search: 'keyword
Startpage search: 'keyword'
Wikipedia search: 'keyword'

// and so on,

Like in Firefox on Jolla. Select one of the search engine options.

However I have settled for easy DuckduckGo:

By replacing by entering about:config in MicroB

and replacing keyword.url string with

https://duckduckgo.com/html/?q=

This gives you the java free version.
