Hi,

I have been wondering today if the miniSD or SD cards can be labeled somehow? And if they can be labeled, then how?

man mkfs.vfat
man mkfs.ext2

both should have parameters. vfat at least does.

I prefer a bright green or red sharpie

Seriously, where I work all media MUST be labeled. Try getting a decent stick on label for microSD

mkfs.vfat -F 16 -n MY_SD_CARD /dev/mmc~~~

is probably what u want
