I installed Calendar Feed a while ago, and an icon just appeared on the desktop (picture attached), after uninstall the icon disappeared, but it came back after a reboot.

If I install, than uninstall Calender Feed again, the icon disappears until the first reboot.

Please help!

Yes, it's the same in the File Manager.

No one else had that problem?

I have exactly the same issue from the same installation. Can't get rid of the icon. Very annoying. I guess you must have to go into developer mode for thhis one. Not too confident with that.

I'm in developer mode, search everywhere for the icon, but no result.

I'm waiting for help, and at last I'm not alone with my problem.

I wish there was some way of displaying the source/properties of the icon as you do on a PC. This would make it far easier to eliminate the issue. I guess we have to wait for an answer. I'll check to see if there are any other forums with this issue/thread.

if that doesn't solve your problem, trial-and-error by moving all .desktop files somewhere else and then moving it back in batch by batch!
Which directory do they sit in?

most likely /usr/share/applications. I wouldn't move ALL .desktop files at once, it may be dangerous to do that.
