Any chance to see it on the N900?

What you need for that kind of application?

Camera
  • Check
GPS
  • Check
Compass
  • Check
Map data
  • Google uses TeleAtlas and propably their own maps also
  • Nokia is naturally in the Navteq camp
Lots of POI data
  • Google uses TeleAtlas and propably their own data also
  • Nokia is naturally in the Navteq camp

This also pretty much depends on Google's attitude towards other Companies. I hope Navteq camp is putting together something similar. Can you guys tell what's the relation between Layar and Goggles or is there any?

There's something similar from Nokia for Symbian: http://pointandfind.nokia.com. Hopefully will be on N900 too.

Google Navigation owns Nokia's. Can't compare. Ovi Maps sucks. They should write off the dumb purchase they made and get into bed with Google on the mapping piece. This would be great and would love my N900 more.
