The application gets stuck when it starts to create the contacts! is the first time I used and authorize facebook account. What I have to do?

Is Hermes still supported? I have an issue.


I have a number (~8 of 70) of LinkedIn contacts that do not synch through Hermes. I seem to recall that a few of them did in the past, but perhaps I changed something in the contact that "broke" this. I have even added the "Public" webpage { http://www.linkedin.com/pub/First-Last/xxx/yyy/zzz }

I would even consider adding "hashtags" in the Notes to "help" Hermes match or Not-Match Contacts.

Yes, but time's limited. It will get reinvigorated for Harmattan with a Qt Mobility backend (and so get an updated Maemo 5 version as well).

The profile URL is the definitive thing which defines "matches", but it's not the link to the public profile page, it's more something like http://www.linkedin.com/profile?view...e=&key=XXXXXXX

It's on the wishlist, but not currently in progress

I replaced all of the profiles with the public profile URLs :-(

I'll put the "arcane" ones back and test. :-)


PS Is "Harmatten/Meego" work is trivially portable to Maemo? So I don't feel bad asking for stuff. :-)

I'll do it with PySide, QML & Qt Mobility. Hermes already has a contact abstraction, so that'll change to use Qt Mobility, the engines can stay as-is and the UI gets rewritten with Qt Components.

just to let you all know, I get reauthorise errors when trying to use the twitter part of hermes. have reauthorised both my n900 with twitter and the hermes program, but still gives me "reauthorise credentials". any solutions? anyone else gettin twitter problems?

I get stuck at "processing contacts" its been there for 1 hour now.
Its the 4th time im trying.
Whats the problem?

Edit: seemed to be my router that keps throwing me out every minute, without disconnecting me somehow.

I am having the exact same issue with Twitter. I re-authorised twice and it's still asking me to re-authorise. Any bug report on this and has it been solved? anyone? Thanks

I've had ongoing issues with Hermes ever since v0.8.9. Continually throws the error "Something went wrong" or "Connectivity error" when trying to refresh contact details. This is only using FB. It has occasionally worked in the past by clearing authorisation and disabling, closing app, and re-authorising and enabling, but it's maybe a 1 in 50 chance that works.

Any ideas?
