Those of you that hang around on IRC will know already....
This is a FOSS Perl powertop replacement made by Phil Carmody (fatphil).

I have packaged it into a .deb to make it easy for people to install.
Many will say it's only a perl script why does it need a .deb? Well, not everyone is terminal compatible and I think it's important to have basic debugging tools in the repos.

I take no credit for any of the work on the script. All thanks go to Phil.

It works much better than powertop, it even shows the clock speeds correctly for KP kernel.

Even though it is tiny I have stuck it in opt/ this keeps it in with all the other programs and packages. A symlink to /usr/bin is provided for ease.

Enjoy!

Sorry friend, but before i requesting you for deb. I already try to search:
BusyBox v1.10.2 (Debian 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso30+0m5) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

/home/user # apt-cache search zzztop
/home/user #
That the reason for my question.
regards

On a testing push at the moment.
A few more votes are required to promoted zzztop to extras. Please rate. Thanks
