As "they" is "me" I looked at the part and recognized it's not a big thing to implement it. I will release a new version tonight...

CTRL-C for copying the translated text will be added and a new version will come to Extras-Testing

Ok, now for real....

A new version is in extras-testing and is waiting for thumbs

http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...ziggy/0.3.5-1/

Changes:
- translated text can be selected and copied with CTRL-C
- more search result hits can be loaded, up to 80
- more robust handling of timeouts

If someone wants to use another browser as the standard microb to open a link, you can install Browser Switchboard. Works fine with Opera.

Browser Switchboard is currently in extras-testing http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...3-1fremantle2/.

This is a really good app, well put together and crammed with functionality. I've only had it a couple of days and it has made it onto my desktop.

Anyway can you add the 'google discussion' search and the 'maemo talk' search please.

The google discussion search is available to non-mobile browsers on the left hand side where you can choose to narrow your search down to 'images', 'videos', etc, and it narrows it down to forums.

The maemo talk one is self explanatory, we're here now! I'm not sure how you would implement it because it has that human being test, but maybe the program could work it out because I'm sure there are only 5/6 questions. Maybe the people who designed the forum software would be kind enough to open a backdoor for the search utility.

Sadly I have no programming experience to assist you, but then again you're doing a fantastic job anyway.

Thanks,

mrsellout

Well, technically I'm just faking at the the wikipedia, imdb or amazon searches. In fact they are just google searches in the way "site:en.wikipedia.org inurl:/wiki/ maemo", for example.

So it should be easy to implement a search for t.m.o with something like "site:talk.maemo.org inurl:showthread.php ask ziggy"

Search for discussions in general over google is not so easy, since I've not found an API or a specific parameter especially for that.

But I'll try....

ok, a new version is now available via extras-devel.

Searches for maemo.org are added! It's now possible to search in talk, wiki or for packages.

Install from extras-devel or click on the following link:
