Have you tried installing Pidgin? I believe that they both use libpurple so you might find installing Pidgin first then retry extras works. seem to recall a similar issue myself.

i already try pidgin but i think i prever choose extra protocol bcos at extra protocol i got bigger screen chat, my ym friend automatically @ my contact. i already try uninstall n install again, but still like that...

that is just an error on installing...if just say unable to install but if you looks carefully at your contacts you will see the protocol does have been installed....
but if you want to skip the error then try this....
make backup all yours contact first then delete all contact...
if you have already install the protocol then uninstall it...reboot then reinstalled the protocol first...after reinstalled reboot again then restore all contact...this works on my n900...
