well game is great, just missing something:
first of all, like some other users, I can only start the game (just like the papertoss one) in xterm using:
python /opt/bouncebounce/bouncebounce.py
Why doesn't it just work from the menu?
Will you fix this?
Second one: Love to improve this game with graphics and a background music

I like this game much...I saw this game on iphone/android users and that time felt very bad that this game is not on N900. But, now I got the same. Thanks a lot...
Graphics can be improved..but no problem..this still looks very good...!!!

Thanks jamie fuller this is a really cool game very addictive specially when i am playing with my friends as they try to beat my high score! Can i request one thing is ther any chance where we can see the score of the last game at the end of the game so when i play with my friends we can see how close or how much we are getting each time!

Instead of fruit slicing, you can make it DevicesSlicer. Slicing through all devices like: Apple Iphone 3GS, Iphone 4, iPad, Ipad 2, Nokia (bonus), MS (big bonus), MS mobile, Android devices; Elop (boss), Jobs (boss), balmer(boss)
Penalty devices: Linux, N900, MeeGo, N810

I've added a minor update that now shows the last game score as well as the top score as requested. Can be found in extras-testing. (be warned though it will erase your current high-score)
I originally designed the game with a scrolling background but the graphics caused too much of a slow down
I'll have a look at FruitNinja,
Can anyone assist with the problem of the icon not working but running it from xterm does, I cannot recreate this problem but some do... if you have had this problem can you let me know
1) Firmware
2) Rooted?
3) Python and Pygame installed before this game?

Enhanced kernel version 46
Python and pygame installed prior to installation of bouncebounce.
Can only launch via xterm with python /opt/bouncebounce/bouncebounce.py
