Yes you can get rid of the one in mydocs and then cd to the /etc/systemui directory and do a ls there and see what files are there. If you only have the one systemui.xml file there what I would do is do a:

cp systemui.xml systemui.xml.bak

then leafpad the .bak file and change it back to original by moving the <!-- back up above the <menuitem> tag for reboot.

That way you have an original just in case.
how do i delete the file from mydocs using xterm? thanx

in etc/systemui i have my backup as systemui.xml.orig

You can download MC from the App manager providing you have the extra repository's set up.
