Pinning is some kind of "blacklisting" so just try it.

Maybe under libxau6 1.0.6-2-1.0.3-2osso1.1
This will still confuse dpkg

Hey, hey, hey! Which kernel are you using?
I've got a concept why some people have reboot loops: libxau6 1.0.6 is compatible with kernel power but not with the stock kernel

Even if it doesn't cause reboot loops on KP, it != is compatible. It may just *not work*, without causing catastrophic failure.
