Maybe you can contribute to 0xFFFF project... It has not yet Windows support.

I think he means the W7 workaround does not work on W8.1.
I would't know: I do have a W8.1 laptop but I just boot it from an Ubuntu CD for tasks like flashing.

i can help in testing but cant help in development as im not a developer .

yes. now it works. guide posted by visN900 on first page of this thread doesn't apply for Win 8.1. i'm also planning to install Kali Linux alongside Windows 8.1 but haven't done it yet.
