in app manager it would be great if one could select multiple programs and then hit the uninstall or remove button just as with files in file manager.

maybe also for installing apps. doing this right now is time consuming as hell.

btw. no. i am not orangebox. if i sound like him it prob. has to do something with the fact that trollish minds think a like or something like that.

if your not afraid of CLI, try this as root:
apt-get remove app1 app2 app3 app4

Thanks is not user friendly at all, plus it require you to know the binary name of the application. most application have a different install name from the name displayed in the application menu.

There is a feature request filed for the issue and you might want to add your vote for it. if there is enough vote we may be able to send our msg home and and get the feature implemented. https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=601

Yes I agree, would be interesting to see how one would implement the UI to reflect the dependency installations and conflict resolving in a finger friendly manner.
