Quick reply...
I couldn't see the icon after updating today. So, I added "Icon=saera" entry to "saera.desktop", and then in X Terminal
Code:
cp /usr/share/icons/hicolor/80x80/apps/saera.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/saera.png
Now, I see the icon. It's definitely colourful.
Best wishes.

My apologies; I've been rather busy the last week. I uploaded 0.2-4, which fixes a bug where Saera would still respond to proximity sensor even if the screen was off. I also added Wikiwide's icon fix.

All: I may not have much time to work on Saera until late November. What are the most wanted features that I should concentrate the time I have on?

full support for different language models, obviously! We *do* want to debug it

Since of late seara had become completely unusable on my device, its become really slow, takes more than 10-20 seconds to respond to a click on the mic icon or to recognize and respond.

ps: slow down started occurring from last 3-4 versions may be, not so sure.

can others too confirm how the later versions behave?

Not entirely sure what you mean by this: a) the dynamic language model shifting I was talking about earlier; or b) language models for different languages. If a, the reason it's not available for debug is that I can't get it to recognize input from files for some reason - it gets it completely wrong, but I think I can fix that. If b: the problem is that I have been unable to find a good tutorial on creating custom language models in languages other than English. I will work on these, but it will probably be slow going.

Not having this problem myself, however it may be related to the Google Voice integration. I will do more testing and see if I can figure out the cause.

I think the phonetic alphabet would be useful in Saera.

Phonetics could remove the issues were Saera mishears things.

Couple of examples:-

1)
Human: "When is the next train to Manchester?"
Saera: "Yes. It is likely to rain in Manchester"
Human: "Phonetics Tango Romeo Alpha India November Space Mike Charlie Oscar"
Saera: "Opening browser http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/ldbboard/arr/MCO"

2)
Postcode of my nearest Police station

"Phonetics Whiskey Alpha One Zero Tango Delta"

This could be used for searching google "WA10 1TD" or routing modrana to "WA10 1TD" etc.

Another plus of the phonetic alphabet is it's internationally standardized.

I though about b, but every upgrade like that to out favorite AI project is appreciated Don't worry, it's obvious, that it require much time and effort.
