OK i seriously need help with setting up Nokia messaging,

Everytime i setup my email using Nokia messaging i always get
"Problem setting up mailbox, please check settings and try again later"

Some people suggest using the official site to set up NM,
https://netac139.vie.hosting.nokia.c...nt/home.action
But after i put in my country code, phone number and phone type, it says

Your mobile phone already has the latest Nokia Messaging software installed. To setup Nokia Messaging directly from your phone, go to Menu > Email > New > Follow on screen instructions.

Don't forget to Accept the Service Terms.
So i have no choice but to use phone to get it done,

From Menu > Email > New >
Here's my settings

Region : Indonesia
Service Provider : Nokia Messaging
Email Address : xxxx@yahoo.com
Password : xxxxxxxxxx

Then after agreeing with license of term, the error always shows up
"Problem setting up mailbox, please check settings and try again later"

Here's the settings that automatically provided :
Email Address : xxxx@yahoo.com
Password : xxxxxxxxxx
Username : same with email without @yahoo.com
Email type : IMAP
incoming server : imap.n.mail.yahoo.com
incoming port : 143
outgoing server : smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing port : 587
Is it because i used yahoo?
Is there anything i should change?
Please help, i've been trying this for days already.
thanks

Have you tried the built-in email account creation guide(on the N900)? You only need to provide your email address and password, then it will fix everything else automatically.

I think the N900 is confused, since you used a Yahoo email-address. Try just your username. Also, I'm not so sure, but Nokia doesn't provide Yahoo addresses, right?

If i don't use my email address then how will they forward my email?

https://netac139.vie.hosting.nokia.c...nt/home.action

That's the point of nokia messaging, it forwards email from yahoo, gmail, etc to your phone, they said so on their site..

It doesn't ask for settings if you selected Nokia Messaging.
