I got a replacement N900 due to the charging port pulling out. Unfortunately, I was out on the road with no way to do a really good backup and a dead battery so I am trying to reconfigure the new one to my liking. I am almost there but I can't seem to find the dbus command that will force mfe to sync (I like to use alarmed for a custom sync schedule). I thought it was in the mfe wiki but it wasn't there and tried this

http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control#...receive_e-mail

but it doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Fred

Thanks, do you think we should put this in the wiki? I have not done that before, is there anything tricky?

If you wish

Should be pretty easy: Find the correct section, click "Edit" and copy some other entry that's there, paste and modify. Don't worry about making mistakes; past revisions of the page are kept.

If you have an account at maemo.org, sign in before editing and you'll get a karma point.

Best regards
