Obviously you'd want to investigate why the message "com.nokia.csd.simatk: simatk_report_event_notification:460 Building and sending ATK_REPORT_EVENT_NTF -message" keeps repeating, but it might be irrelevant to your problem.
What else can we see from your curated log (I wonder why you presented us this specific bit)?
Maybe:
It says "detach type = 0x01, cause=0x0a" and "error=0x200c9".
That would need to be translated into humanspeak I guess.
It also says
but I don't know if icd2 is related to 3G internet connection.

There are no problems accessing o2 upon my N9 as it was happy to deduct £2 for usage today:
You don't mention whether security certificates have been updated following work of Halftux or not as here:

That said Opera seemed to crash upon resource intensive bbc.co.uk with 3G data connection, whilst stock browser managed as in attached screenshot.

Dear Maemo community,
Thank you very much for your responses. Something strange happened. Going to Poland, the Nokia N9 was able to connect to Orange with 3G just fine. Coming back to Germany, it’s no connecting to 2.5G, which it didn’t before. (I though O₂ is going to decommission 3G at the end of 2021, but it looks like they did it earlier (July 1st to November), so I didn’t test before my trip to Poland.)
As 3G worked with Orange in Poland, I points to some error/misconfiguration of the O₂ infrastructure in Germany.

I am using an O₂ plan, and the mobile internet worked fine with the Jolla phone. On the Nokia N9, the 3.5 icon at the top blinks, and after several minutes stays blue. But I am unable to access anything using the browser. Entering a URL in the browser, the dialog to connect to the Internet appears again.
