for learning Python I want to do a small project:

Use the N9 music player for listening to audio books.
I want to save the current state (playlist, song and position) to a file and load it from file for resume.

Until now I only solved reading the current play position with dbus com.nokia.mafw.renderer get_position. This I found in code snippets on github.

For playlist and song reading and writing I did not find anything to copy for my low beginner level.

Are I am on the right track with dbus or is QtMobility QMediaPlayerControl better?

Do you have hints on docs and refs I should dig throu?
