What it should do is reboot to Nitdroid.
If it just appears to turn off there are various things that could cause it;
  • could be your kernel is wrong, in wrong place.
  • could be your init files are missing, wrong or with wrong permissions.
  • could be your android filesystem is setup wrong
  • could be something else

What does your ubiboot logs say?

Thanks for help.

I am Using Silly boot graphics. I flashed zImage.pr13 kernel. and I placed nitdroid in /home/nitdroid/ directory. But when I start the phone I get nitdroid and meego logos but when I press volume up for nitdroid the phone goes power off.

As it happens, sillyboot is way simpler than ubiboot so there is lot less that can go wrong with it

Possibilities are; you either got the preinit wrong or your rootfs extraction did not go as it was supposed to.
Or you did not flash the correct kernel.
