Hello all,
I have done some modding on Slovak layout (due too small space, typing comma or fullstop instead) but also now I have completed ALFANUMERIC layout, as many people were asking for it. You can find the screens here:

Is it possible to add "ctrl" in the VKB so we could use shortcuts like ctrl + c for copying, etc.?

hmm, nice to see this thing in swype. maybe it cat be exported...
CTRL can not be used as far as i know. but ALT is maybe usable, i think i have seen sth like that in config files.

I'm doing some testing to make a new keyboard (French - Swiss). When I put it in /home/user/.config/meego-keyboard/layouts/ I don't see it in the list. Any hint?

you have ti put it in original way until you do do not have got a app for that.

You have to exit settings and open it again. If it is not so, check you have the xml header right, and the name does not conflict with any of the preinstalled layouts

Problem solved: made a mistake in xml file.
@ Rusnak-COBRA : it is OK to put your file in /home/user/.config/meego-keyboard/layouts/, no need of an app.
Here we go: French (Swiss) keyboard, extension to be renamed .xml

Many thanks for this waited keyboard...even if we are probably few user...
I've just updated my N9 yesteray through Navifirm and got Swype keyboard.
Do you know how to get Swiss french language in Swype settings ?
