I have just made an application, UKTUBE. It allows you to play youtube clips on your n800 smoothly in fullscreen mode. It's total sweetness. Also, files are stored so that you can play them later on as well.

Read the blog entry, install the app and finally feel that your n800 is web 2.0 compliant (at least for the youtube part).

Nope. Not yet. OTOH, it's python, so, someone should be able to make it work on google pretty easily.

I just updated the blog to contain a youtube demonstration video. Man. I'm so excited. This is a great tool. Download it now!

I like it a lot, but can you make it play before its done downloading?

Maybe in the future. This is just the beginning. But I'll be on vacation for a few days, so this is all there will be for a few days.

Konttori nice idea but i doont like the fact thatt its .flv and can only be playd in mplaayer.Pesonally hate mplayer because it crashs my nokia or it will distort everything on the sceen.

Forgot to mention that the app works just as well on 770 as on N800.

It always appears to get stuck at about 3600k regardless of the video.
