Hello.
I'm quite new with this device so I'm asking quite lame things I suppose...

Is there any solution to play SHOUTCast radio/videos? vp6 / 7 codecd videos?
What about Real's videos (.rm or .ram)?

I haven't tried, but I don't see why mplayer/kmplayer shouldn't be able to play the shoutcast audio (and probably video).

I have used mplayer/kmplayer to play my IceCast (streaming ogg-vorbis audio) and it works great!

I hope this helps,

Craig...

I have been adding various stream files in the form of .m3u play lists to my sounds folder, and only mp3 streams are playable. I then installed mplayer and found I could play RTSP:// urls, and wondered if there was a friendly front-end for it, and discovered this thread.

kmplayer will open my BBC_News.m3u file which looks like this:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,BBC News
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/me...5min_au_nb.ram

it appears to open the RAM file to get the RTSP definition, but it won't try and play the stream which mplayer does if driven manually.

any ideas please please?!!
