Greetings.

Being off the phone, every time I connect the phone charger is turned on. happening to me about a week ago.

please someone help me solve this.

the phone is set to this behaviour...what you can do is after plugging in the charger just switch it off...

also when my battery is totally flat and i plug in the charger, the boot screen shows up and after that it just shows the charging icon...so don't worry about your phone...

Thanks for the help. but my question is that before did not, as I said takes a week with that function.
Before you put it to load with little or no half load and only battery charging icon appeared and stayed off.
Why the change?

Stupid beaviour, Charged from my laptop on a flight the other day and the " dadadadaaa!"-nokia startup sound alerted the stewardess...

This has changed every time I've updated my phone ie: PR1.0 -> PR1.1, PR1.1 -> PR1.2 etc.
Most recently, under PR1.2, I could plug my phone into the charger and after a few moments power it off. A few minutes later it would show just a battery icon.
Now, under PR1.3, I plug the charger in, power it off and it automatically powers on again. I don't want my phone switched on over night while I'm asleep!

Is there any way to change this?
