I just replaced the "m." with "www." and added that bookmark to the Home screen. Everything is perfect till now.

It's really annoying but I really like the Touch interface set up by User Agent control panel module!

Has anyone else had this...

I could access the full Facebook website the other day but today it seems they've changed something that forces me to use the basic mobile site.

They are detecting my device as an N900 becuase I am getting "Download a Facebook bookmark for your N900"

The obvious solution is change my user agent but I want to know if this is deliberate?

There is no need to change the user agent. Just bookmark http://facebook.com/home.php and use this to get to the full version.

If you have issues, there is a pretty long thread on this subject alone.

Cheers!

Well some people prefer the mobile version as well, so its down to preference I guess.

blame facebook, suckerberg decided that www.facebook.com opened with N900 should redirect to m.facebook.com for some reason

(already wrote similar comment to original thread....)

The thread "Facebook forcing MicroB to basic mobile site?" with five posts has been merged into this thread.

doing that just bookmarks a blank white page with no address for me?
tried lots of times with the same result
in bookmarks the address is 'about:blank'
and even if it was working its the widget i use to open the page not bookmarks

i just remove the 'm.' from the address and reload the page,
