I guess being North European makes you fond of everything boxy I really like the design. It looks very sturdy and metallic.

eldar murtazin also said, that the N900 is crashing all the time. He denied having a bad unit. Two month later we knew, that the crashing issue was caused by bad units.

anyone noticed that these leaks have been happening around the same time when a convention is happening

Documentation leak = around the time of MWC
Photo Leaks = around the time of CTIA 2010

at both conventions Nokia did/do not plan to announce anything big in terms of new devices but there competition do/did.

i think nokia are doing the leaks intentional to create hype and show they have big things to come to stop people writing them off for lack of new hardware

NvyUS, the screws etc. are just because its a prototype. It's for real for sure, and the final product will likely look much more polished (as usual).

Btw, the last pic (the rendering) Tissot posted might be the E7/tilting qwerty slider rather than the N8.

If this is real i expect the next meego device to have hdmi out and 12 mpx camera...remember maemo is only for very advanced hardware...
